How NXT LVL Coatings Started

While finishing a part, Frank was told it could be powder coated. After learning how the process worked and seeing the finished result, a cleaner, tougher, and far more refined finish than traditional paint, the difference was undeniable. That moment sparked a long-term interest in coatings, surface preparation, and doing things the right way.

From Hobby Setup to Professional Coating Shop

What started with a hobby powder coating system and a household oven quickly grew into something more.

Projects for friends, family, and personal builds turned into steady repeat work. As demand increased, the equipment evolved as well, with upgrades to more powerful powder coating systems, the addition of a blast cabinet for proper surface preparation, and larger ovens capable of handling bigger parts.

This progression laid the foundation for a professional shop focused on quality over shortcuts.

Going Full Professional in 2021

In 2021, NXT LVL Coatings officially launched as a business.

All equipment was upgraded to professional-grade powder coating systems, commercial blast equipment, and a large-format curing oven, allowing the shop to take on everything from small custom components to larger residential and commercial projects.
